About Our Melissa Essential Oil From Bulgaria

The healing properties of Melissa have been well known since the Middle Ages. The oil is a profound sedative, it brightens the mood, strengthens the heart and nervous system and helps with weakness or lack of energy. A drop or two in a glass of warm water – sweetened with a little bit of sugar or honey – will promote much deeper and more restorative sleep. Melissa oil is one of the strongest antiviral agents in aromatherapy and is a proven remedy for herpes. Aromatic Notes

Somewhat tart yet sweet, fresh lemony and green-herbaceous aroma with subtle notes of mint and honey. Not as beautiful as our Bavarian version.

Direction For Use

Topical use: apply topically diluted in a carrier oil.

Oral use: dilute 1-2 drops in a glass of water. You can add 1 drop to a tablespoon of olive oil or a piece of bread. You can make your own capsule by adding 1 drop to your desired carrier oil.

Inhalation: diffuse or inhale.

Other uses: widely used in blends or in perfumes,  spiritually uplifting.
