About Our Lovage Root Oil
Approximately 70% of this Lovage Root oil is made up by so-called Phthalides. These are two-pronged natural molecules which act similar to synthetic chelating agents. They are especially well suited to remove toxic two valence metal ions such as Cadmium or Mercury from the organs.
The fragrance of Lovage Root and the appearance of the leaves are somewhat reminiscent of Celery. It is found mostly in European and Northern American mountain regions and meadows. Lovage also likes to grows in areas littered with debris. The grey brown root, bearer of the precious essential oil, has a thick bark.
In the French Style aromatherapy realm Lovage Root is considered to possibly be the most important and effective cleanser for liver and kidneys. This action is mediated by the oil’s content of Phtalides.
It offers a powerful option to cleanse the eliminating organs whenever there is metabolic overload stemming from poor or fatty diet and also stored toxins from poorly metabolized medications.
French Style suggests a variety of indications including Psoriasis, weak liver and kidney, kidney or liver poisoning, physical asthenia and metabolic syndrome.

Lovage Root 1ml
Cassia 2ml
Helichrysum 1ml
Rosemary verbenone 1ml
Botanical name: Levisticum officinale
Topical use: apply topically diluted in a carrier oil.
Oral use: dilute 1-2 drops in a glass of water. You can add 1 drop to a tablespoon of olive oil or a piece of bread. You can make your own capsule by adding 1 drop to your desired carrier oil
