About Our Camphor Essential Oil from Borneo

This essential oil is highly unusual.  It relieves physical and emotional tension and opens the respiratory tract, combining deep relaxation with mindful breathing.

As Borneo Camphor or Camphor of Baros has been highly popular through the ages its availability vanished and practically all that is on the market is synthetic. Steam distilled from the sap of the imposing trees on an individuals property in Jiangxi Province, China.

One can almost feel the time travel when smelling it. It is ideally used on the wet skin after the shower to allow for a moment of cool relaxation where the tensions just drop away.

Aromatics Notes

Camphor fragrance is cool, clean, clear, thin, bright, and piercing and is known to promote fuller and deeper breathing. Hints of menthol.

Direction Of Use

Topical use: apply topically diluted in a carrier oil or undiluted.

Oral use: dilute 1-2 drops in a glass of water. You can add 1 drop to a tablespoon of olive oil or a piece of bread. You can make your own capsule by adding 1 drop to your desired carrier oil.

Inhalation: diffuse or inhale.
