About Our Organic Everlasting Hydrosols

Everlasting Hydrosols are often easier to use than the straight essential oils for the simple reason that they are generally less irritant than pure essential oils and can be used more liberally. This makes hydrosols also easier to use with children for whom oils or oil blends are often a bit on the strong side.

In addition hydrosols generally contain components from the plant which are low molecular and water soluble. Turns out that some of the water soluble components have specific anti-inflammatory properties and make the hydrosol especially gentle.

Importantly this Helichrysum Hydrosol is distilled for the purpose of producing hydrosol, it is not the by product of an essential oil distillation. This means distilling conditions are optimized to produce an especially effective hydrosol, capturing all the regenerative powers of Helichrysum italicum. This is a wonderfully soothing facial toner. Some users also apply it instead of Myrtle hydrosol to soothe the eyes.
