Our Blue Lotus Wax is a rare and beautiful material derived from the extraction of Blue Lotus flowers cultivated in Sri Lanka, where Blue Lotus is honored as the national flower. This soft, buttery wax is the natural residual plant material remaining after the production of Blue Lotus Absolute. Far from a byproduct, it retains a resilient and evocative aromatic profile that reflects the characteristic scent of Nymphaea cerulea. It is noticeably brighter than the Absolute, while also resembling its rich, dense floral, earthy, fatty, creamy sweet character.

With its smooth, emollient consistency, Blue Lotus Wax is exceptionally well suited as a base for solid perfumes and balms. It may also be incorporated as a distinctive component within more complex perfume compositions, offering depth and texture rather than volatility. In addition, the wax stands beautifully on its own as a luxurious hand emollient and is a welcome addition to handmade creams, salves, and other topical preparations.

Several years ago, our producer made a limited quantity of this Blue Lotus Wax available for the first time. It sold out immediately, prized for offering the recognizable Blue Lotus aroma at a fraction of the cost of the absolute. After years of continued requests, a new batch has been produced exclusively for us. Quantities remain limited, allowing us to offer this material at a very reasonable price while supplies last.

This wax is composed entirely of plant-derived material from the Nymphaea flower. Its texture is soft and nourishing, forming a natural balm with a refined, understated fragrance that lingers close to the skin.
