Lavender Connoisseur Collection

Six Distinct Expressions of Lavender from Provence & Spain

Discover the remarkable breadth of the Lavandula genus through this set of six Provencal distillations, of distinct authenticity shaped by terroir and genetic makeüp. This collection serves as reference set for practitioners and connoisseurs seeking to compare genuine Lavender aromatics.

This suite presents Population Lavender, the scarce Wild Lavender harvested in  limited quantities due to shifting environmental conditions, and the stunning elegance of Provencale Spike Lavender. Together, these oils offer a rare opportunity to study Lavender across its natural range.

A Study in Provenance & Chemistry

Lavender rather than being a single aroma, is an array of olfactory components reflecting altitude, soil, climate, and harvest timing. Elevation plays a key role:

  • Fine Lavender thrives at high altitudes and is prized for its refined aromatic balance.

  • Wild Lavender grows in still higher elevations, its balanced composition an unlikely response to rugged environmental condition.

  • Spike Lavender, by contrast, thrives at low elevations, yielding a brighter, more camphoraceous profile rich in 1,8-cineole.

This collection allows you to compare these expressions with intention, observing how subtle shifts in composition and provenance influence scent and therapeutic potential.
