About Our Organic Thuja Essential Oil
Thuja oil, from the cold Canadian climate, has a strong, pungent, coniferous aroma is, when applied with knowledge and caution is one of the precious agents in Aromatherapy to help with conditions which are extremely hard to address.
If one keeps in mind that this oil has a relatively high ketone content (thujone) and applies is accordingly, we Thuja can be a true magic healer.
Thuja is also known as Tree of Life, Arborvitae and White Cedar
If applied topically for the treatment of warts or skin tags it can be diluted with a fatty oil or with other gentle antiviral essential oils (See for example our Warts Magic and Warts Magic Extra Strength Blends).
When inhaled to eliminate hardened mucus it can be blended with expectorant oils such as Eucalyptus, Ravintsara, Myrtle or Ho.
Careful: Thuja occidentalis is not recommended for small children, pregnant women and the frail elderly.
