Mucolytic, decongestant for veins and artheries, gall bladder weakness, cardio tonic, muscular contraction, viral infection
Rosemary camphor is a precious and highly effective oil for a broad variety of congestive issues. Most oils referred to as camphor–type Rosemary come from Spain, whereas this oil is found growing wild on the high plains of Haute Provence in France. Despite the camphor content, its fragrance is gentle and green. In L'Aromathérapie Exactement, camphor–type Rosemary is recommended for muscular contractions, cramps and headaches among other complaints. North of the Alps, Rosemary appears for the first time in the herb gardens of the famous monastery in St. Gallen, Switzerland. In the Middle Ages it was believed that Rosemary would chase away bad spirits; for the English philosopher Thomas Moore, Rosemary was indicative of memory and friendship; and in Shakespeare’s Hamlet, it is the symbol of remembrance.
