Powerful agent against respiratory infection, viral, bacterial and fungal, as well as digestive and genital infection, herpes simplex and zoster, weakness of the nervous system.
Due to its mild character it is ideal for children
Ravintsara is high in 1,8-cineole and also contains approximately 10% alpha-terpineol. Unlike other oils with a high 1,8-cineole content, Ravintsara is extremely mild and can be used liberally on the skin, even in larger quantities (i.e. 10-20 drops distributed over the whole body). It is a non-toxic, non-irritant, effective antiviral and mucolytic agent and a safe nerve tonic, while stabilizing the central nervous system. It is effectively used to ease shingles outbreaks and is best applied topically, 50:50, blended with the fatty oil Tamanu, Calophyllum inophyllum. One of the most benign essential oils, Ravintsara can also be used safely with children.
