This specific Lemon oil is not recommended for ingestion since it is cold pressed from non organic fruit. In steam distillation larger molecules such as pesticides will not end up in the essential oil, but during the process of cold pressing of citrus peels allows everything that is on the peel to end up in the oil. This low priced oil is perfect for diffuser blends, to purify room air, for cleaning surfaces, to eliminate mold, etc.
